Building Confidence

Under construction. Thanks for your patience.

Having confidence when learning a new language is not always easy. There are many things that might go "wrong" when using a new language. Here are some things to remember during your language learning that can help you with your confidence.

1. When learning how to speak in a new language, it is important to speak as much as you can. The more practice you get, the better you will become at speaking in the new language. Find one or two phrases you are comfortable with and use them every day. This will build up confidence. After you are sure you are ready, add one or two more phrases and use them every day as well. Keep adding more and more as time goes on.

2. Also when learning to speak a new language you should speak with as many different people as you can. When more than one person respond to you in a positive way, it makes you feel good about what you are doing, and your confidence will build on that.
